scrambled video

I just picked up this 600E and it had a vertical line up the right side of the screen and now it has started booting up to a scrambled boot screen...can barely make out the IBM splash, but can see the memory amount exceptit is at the bottom of screen now...after it gets to the windows screen..everything is fine...whats up with that?
