Anyone need an UltraSlimBay DVD/CDRW?

#1 Post by MadeInJapan » Mon Nov 08, 2004 7:48 pm

Was about to buy this but realized that it is Ultra Slim Bay size (9.5mm slim), so I'm passing it up. Current price is $50! Great deal! Auction ends in 3 hours. Better hurry if interested.

Careful shoppers.

It's an UltraBay Slim drive, not an UltraSlimBay drive. It works in machines or docks for these systems: R50, R50p, T40, T41, T41p, Dock II, X40.

See this page: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-54330
Machine-Project: 750P, 600X, T42, T60, T400, X1 Carbon Touch

whizkid...you're right...all these names get confusing...but anyway, with an adapter it would work in a T series too (Ultrabay 2000). Can you believe that someone got this for $52? Wow!
