Love that old Beamer-eatin' 510! 72?
I was the wrench turner for a friend's when he campaigned it in SCCA out east here. Same time I had my "tuned" 240Z which, sadly, didn't survive the practicality test after the birth of our 2nd child in '75.
Replace it with "The Hammer!"
Regards,
Zoooooommm

Thanks, but as I am older than the internet in general and Forums in particular, I have historic precedent on my side!k3vb0t wrote:Beamer = BMW Motorcycle

"Beamers" were what they were called when I lived in Germany and drove mine, and I'm afraid I'm too old a dog to teach a new trick.

What did you have in Germany?
Yep, every day I learn of something new I can ignore!k3vb0t wrote:Education is continuous...
From BMW? 1600ti, 2000ti and a 2800CS, all for short periods. Had an old R25 250cc bike for a while as well.k3vb0t wrote:What did you have in Germany?
