X40 LCD Pressure Marks

Has anyone noticed their X40's having pressure marks in the upper left hand corner of their LCDs? I have two X40s and both have the exact same spots, 4 white circular bright spots. Every picture I've seen of a X40 with pressure spots have them. Could the pressure marks actually be from heat damage from keeping the LCD closed? The pressure marks are directly above the hard drive on the X40. If anyone has any thoughts on this I'd like to hear them, both X40s I sent in under warranty were denied for pressure damage.

Try telling the Lenovo representative that both of your X40 has bright spots at the same positions, which indicate that it is a faulty LCD design problem. They may then accept it for warranty repair.

Unfortunately I did speak with a representative and they said I needed to send the laptops in. I received a call and they said $900 repair per laptop. Not worth it, so back they came unrepaired and scratched bezels where they took the covers off.
