Found this on google today ... they have some nifty enclosures (USB2+firewire for 2.5" SATA HDDs). Prices are slightly expensive, but their range is amazing ... just thought I will post this link here.

I have not bought anything from them, so this is not an ad of any sort. If anyone does, please post your experience here.

For 3.5" eclosures, I recommend Apricorn enclosures. They are the at the top - aluminium body + giant 80mm fan. Very hard combination to come by. And quite inexpesive too (~$40, less with rebates)

Probably because the aluminium body - usually used to dissipate heat from a hard drive that touches it directly - is useless in case of a fanned enclosure, which by necessity needs space around the drive for airflow.
