is the new thinkpad logo present on all new thinkpads? i would like to know if the new logo will be on the thinkpad that i plan on buying soon.

No if you are bought via Lenovo US.

then how should i go about purchasing a thinkpad with the new logo, if not from Lenovo US?

you can call a sales rep and ask to specify the "ThinkPad T-Series" logo on your order notes. it's not a guarantee but worth a try.

By 2008 all "Think machines" (Thinkpads and ThinkCentres) are going to come with non IBM stickers. If you cannot wait few more months then I suggest find an individual connected to lenovo or IBM who can accommodate your request, where to find such a person is out of the bounds of this forum.
