Key response slow

hi, i am using x61s with vista home. only when i use the computer with battery, not with ac adaptor, a key response when i type to any soft is very slow. i did whatever came up to my mind - updating bios, drivers, setting control panel, uninstalling suspicious utilities, but none of them did work. is anybody having a same problem? is so, could you give me some information how to deal with it please? thank you for your attention in advance.

There was similar problem on X31 caused by Keyboard Customizer utility. Updating to recent version has solved it.

Many thanks to your notice. I uninstalled the utility after installing and feeling suspicious on it. I will look at if there is a newer version of it.

Again, thank you for your help. However, it seems that this utility does not match well to my system. I will find and try some other methods. Although, I very much appreciate your concern.
