Tried new MS Vista driver for ATI on T60?

I'm running Windows Vista (Business, 32-bit) on my T60 with an ATI X1400 (only to re-play Tron 2.0!), and Microsoft wants to update my video driver on my T60. I usually only update with drivers from Lenovo, but thought I'd ask if anyone has tried the MS version.

Please share any experiences, good or bad, from using the MS ATI video driver. Any version is good, but this newest one most especially.

Except for non intel wireless cards (atheros) I hardly ever let MS update my hardware drivers, especially ATI. ATI (aka AMD) has enough problems getting their own drivers right. I would never trust MS.
