Battery reset not working (24% of original power)

I'm the happy user of a X60 but the battery is playing a trick with me.

In the power manager it says:

Your battery can store 24% of its original full charge capacity. Click the Help button to learn about increasing battery lifespan.

Aghhh!

I've tried to reset the battery but first of all the battery reset never finished and if I stop it I can only increase the charge capacity to 25%.

So do I really have to perform a lot of battery resets to have the capacity to near 100%

How old is the battery? If it is less than a year then you need to call Lenovo and let them send you a new battery.
