What would be a reasonable price for a 600e that is functional save for a broken and or cannabalised lcd and minus all readily removable components (ac adapter, battery, cmos battery, memory cards, memory door, hard drive, hard drive caddy, hard drive cover, ultrabay drives)?
I have the parts to rebuild one, but wouldn't want to sink very much money into such a project.
PS Do 600e and 600x use the same LCD, invertor and subcard?

Re: 600E
Not sure what you're asking. Are you asking what yours is worth, or what you can pick one up for to rebuild yours?cure wrote:What would be a reasonable price for a 600e that is functional save for a broken and or cannabalised lcd and minus all readily removable components (ac adapter, battery, cmos battery, memory cards, memory door, hard drive, hard drive caddy, hard drive cover, ultrabay drives)?

They go for between $20-$40 + shipping on E-bay all the time. I paid $100 shipped for 2 600E's in mint condition. Problem is, when i got them, they were both password protected
If your interested in one of them for parts to rebuild yours, I could give you a good deal on it.

Got myself a ThinkPad 600E with broken hinges, can I repair old hinges instead of buying new ones?
