2.5 SATA USB 2.0 and Firewire External Enclosure

#1 Post by ohreallyriley » Tue Nov 06, 2007 8:42 am

I would appreciate any recommendations for an cost effective 2.5 SATA USB 2.0 and Firewire External Enclosure. I would like to image my T61 160gb Seagate Momentus 5400 to a new Hitachi 7K200 drive and then swap.

I hope this is the correct thread as I am a rookie here.

Thanks
T61 (6460-66u), T7300, 2GB Ram, Hitachi 7K200 HDD, 15" WSXGA+ LCD, Nvidia NVS 140M, Intel 4965agn, Turbo Memory, Vista Ultimate

If you do without an enclosure try to use this type of equipment:

I use it (only at home of course) for connecting to 2.5, 3.5 and 5,25 HDDs and all types of CD-ROM and DVD-ROM. Simple, cheap, failure-free.
