Slipstream XP installation from HD

!!! First of all this is NOT WAREZ question so please do not tell me to use some cracks or similar things !!!

OK need help

Here is the problem
When I must reinstall windows I must use or recovery CD or recovery partition. This procedure take me a lot of time and install all kind of things that I dont need (sys. migration, message center , client security solution etc.)
I wan to create unattended installation of XP , activated version.
I know how to make unattended installation. Have made copy of oembios files (makecab....) and so on and so on
I tested this installation on vmware workstation (with switch SMBIOS.reflectHost = "TRUE") but without success. Still need to activate windows.
Any suggestion? plz

Your problem is in the way the recovery CD works. The recovery CD only does not need to activate windows because it doesn't install windows. It actually flashes the disk with a previous install of windows that has already been activated from the factory. The only way you can install a slipstreamed version of windows is, as I had to, make a slipstream of a OEM XP CD and then activate it. A non-OEM version will not work with your code (I know, it was a pain to try to get a non-recovery OEM version)!!! There is no way for you to avoid activating without wares or your recovery CD. Sorry, just activate it, it shouldn't be that hard.

believe me it is when you need to install 20-30 PC... It takes precious time . Read/enter COA..
I have read about 1 Mil. post from hxxp://www.msfn.org and on google and have not found solution.
So I quit researching (read = no time for this **it) and make it my way. I have make master image from one prepared PC, store image on network and activated tftp server. Clone machine over network... It works fine and its fast, still faster then installation or recovery . Image is ca. 2-4GB max. Very simple and whit some switches can be done as full automated.

Yes, that will work if you have a corporate version of XP.
Any other version you'll need to activate.

The recovery CD only does not need to activate windows because it doesn't install windows.

It does indeed install Windows but uses a Volume Licence Key (VLK) version which does not require activation.

Microsoft has tools for installing a SOE (Standard Operating Environment) across multiple systems, and they are readily available to those who need them.

There are some $$$ involved in getting access to them, but if your time is indeed precious.......
