USB Pendrive

I am trying to use a Legend Pendrive in my 600 and it will copy files less that 1 MB. But for larger files, it LOOKS like it is working, but the led on the drive has gone out, and the file does not finish copying.
Anyone else struck this?

Oops, forgot to mention that I'm using Win 98se and my usb cameras are ok.
