For some reason my T43 type 2668 randomly hangs
and I mean randomly, unpredictable, no viruses detected, havent installed anything new lately.
I have no idea why, but whenever it crashes the fan speeds up for a few seconds before dieing down. Does anyone know why?
edit: now i sometimes get a "Thermal sensing error"

If your system completely powers off, then it's likely a heat issue. If it freezes, that is something else - perhaps bad memory or a failing hard drive. Run some memory testing diagnostic software such as memtest and maybe some hard drive diagnostic software. Also look in Event Viewer for events that occur at the time of the incidents. Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
