line-in audio connector missing in T60

My T60 8744-HGC has no line-in audio connector, nor the mixer in Windows has the line-in slider (and yes, I did check under Options - Properties). I tried using the mic-in but signals are supposed to be different, thus the recorded signal is distorted.

Expensive machine. No line-in. Sad.

it's true. I suppose the machine is more of a "business" machine (no pun)... but for this 24/96 capable sound chipset, it is very disappointing
