X61s Wireless N slow

#1 Post by rowfei » Tue Nov 13, 2007 12:06 am

I have an X61s with Intel 4965AGN onboard. I am using an new Linksys WRT150N router which I can connect to with no problem on Wireless N. I setup Security Mode as WPA2 and I can see the the transfer speed is 130 Mbps under ThinkVantage Access Connections.

But the really internet are really slow even slow than Wireless G mode. I try copy a file from share driver from another computer, the speed are really slow.

So what should I do to make the network speed really is Wireless N?

Thanks

Regards

If you are running Vista, some file transfers with other systems are really slow even over wired connections. Make sure you have all the Vista updates applied!

I am running XP. No only slow on file transfer but also on browser internet. I have read all notes from DAH, but I really can't find any useful information.

Please helps.
