#1 Post by teknoT42 » Fri Nov 12, 2004 4:34 am

Howdy,
Does anyone here use any drive cleaner software such as "CleanCache" or "CCleaner"?? I am looking to download a good one and need some suggestions,, What the drive cleaner does is clean all useless pieces of junk on your hardrive...

I am testing a few of them, for instance CCleaner and Registry First Aid. Don't know yet which one I'll be buying though, first I need to finish studies and get some money, and both have their advantages.

CCleaner is small and seems to work well, and Registry First Aid seems to offer more functions. So which one is better?

I'll tell you more of my experiences if necessary (If nobody else with more experience chimes in).

Registry First Aid is a Registry Cleaner. I use it and I like it. It has helped me with a startup problem and a couple of other problems. It has not caused any damage. But it doesn't remove redundant hard drive files (at least not that I have seen). I still recommend it for its intended purpose. ... JDHurst
