System Update: Fingerprint Software, CSS?

... I have not used System Update in over a year. I do not have it installed on my system. I'll let the rest of you be the guinea pigs for that software. If I ever hear enough good reports, then maybe I wil try it again.

I think I just may uninstall the dang thing. Last night, I couldn't open Power Manager (new version installed with System f'Update). FN+F3 brought up the FN+F5 utility.

Rolling back to Power Manager 1.13c fixed that.

I want to update either the Fingerprint Software or CSS, whichever needs to be to use fingerprint password recall work with IE7. But there were SO many bad reports about leaving CSS 6 for a new Lenovo version.... I've been absent for a while, anyone have suggestions or anecdotal reports?

Latest edition of CSS 8.0 and Fingerprint Software 5.6 (FPS) working well with IE6 on my T43. I may be upgrading to IE7 before year-end. I believe FPS 5.6 will work only with CSS 7.0 and above.
