ExpressCard and my T60p

I am hoping someone can help with this. I recently bought an ExpressCard flash card reader ( SanDisk Multi Card ExpressCard Adapter). When I install it my T60p (2613CTO) it shuts the computer down.
Can someone offer advice?

try another one, if it's still doin the same thing that mean your system board need to be replace.
