same model number but different spec ?

#1 Post by shyguy » Thu Nov 15, 2007 2:23 pm

Hi,

I'm wondering if given same model number, is there any possibility to be different models (in terms of spec)?

I'm currently looking at T61 T7300 64607EU and extensively
searching for best deals. Most stores describe specs as
Core 2 Duo T7300 / NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 140M / Intel PM965 ...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... _-34146333

http://computers.pricegrabber.com/lapto ... 8/details/

But a couple of them say almost same except
Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 / Intel 915GM
http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?401853

Are they different models (e.g., older or newer version)? or one of them posted incorrectly?

Thanks!

It's obviously a case of someone not being able to cut and paste properly. The official version from Lenovo is:
Product: ThinkPad T61 6460-7EU [change]
Operating system: All [change]
Original description: T7300(2GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1680x1050 LCD, 128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro
Always take time to check original specs on the support site
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer

Or tabook that lists this model.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
