I had some problems with my X60 which I purchased last November with XP with free Vista upgrade. The laptop never worked properly with the Vista upgrade -- lots of screen changing resolution issues and other things.
I learned a valuable lesson: don't buy laptops with upgrades to a new OS (e.g. XP to Vista).
Lenovo offered me a full refund. I decided to exchange it for an X61 with Vista installed.
