Hi, i have this wonderful machine T42p with 745 and dead T43P with 770, a lot of DDR2 1GB RAM to try but i don´t know hot to make the PIN MOD because images are dead :(

the ddr2 rams are not compatible with the t42
leave the 745 in your t42 and made the fsb mod
770= 2,13ghz
745@133mhzfsb=2,39ghz

for the fsb mod you have to shortcut the second and third pin (starting counting from up left) of the pll chip (it is located under the wifi card, at the left of the southbridge)

hey im new here.
i got ibm thinkpad t42, i855pm(A3) chipset, dothan 1.7(735).
i follow about 3 guides from the internet(they all the same), but with no success.
my pll is CY28346-2.
here what i did.
use spdtl too change to ddr266 and ratio of 3:4.
connect pins 54 55.(with wire).
when i turn on pc i got blank screen.(even with speed fixed slow!)what can it be?
if i disable speed step from bios, it boot, but not loading windows. it just blank again.
