Recalibrating an X30 battery

#1 Post by Mikem95626 » Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:19 am

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to reset the battery gauge in an x30. I have a battery that is way off, and cycling it doesnt seem to help.

Is it an original IBM branded battery or an aftermarket one? I have noticed that there is a difference in behaviour between the two.

Its an original, I swapped out the cells with a different battery that had other issues. Now this one only charges to 10%, and stays at 2% for like an hour an a half. I can't seem to find a way to reset the gauge by discharging/recharging.
