ThinkPad R60e - Problem when I try to install MSOffice 2003

#1 Post by alxvsl » Wed Nov 21, 2007 5:12 am

Hi,

When I try to install MSOffice I receive the following message:
"Setup has detected that Client Security Solutions is already installed on this computer. Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and Client Security Solutions cannot both be installed on the same computer. Client Security Solutions must be removed from this computer before installation can continue.
Click ok to uninstall Client security Solutions, or click Cancel to exit setup"

I am quite confused because I want to have on my laptop the office 2003 and in the same time Client Security Solutions!!!

Any advice?

Alx

mod edit: fixed title (R60e) and moved topic to R/A/G forum.

What is a Thinkpad 60e?

If this is an R60e you should post this in the correct forum, "ThinkPad R, A and G Series".

FWIW, I'm running MS Office Professional 2003 and Client Security Solutions concurrently on my T60p, and I've never seen that message.
