RAM memory prices trend

#1 Post by brucen32 » Sat Nov 13, 2004 10:39 pm

Hi does anyone know if there is some sort of graph that plots the RAM memory prices over the last year or so? I'm just wondering if it's a good time right now to buy a 1 GB stick for my t41p from crucial right now, or are prices going to drop in the near future. I know I can get it cheaper from other sources, but I just don't want the hassle and want it to work properly the first time.

Thanks.

I don't know of any place with a graph pre-made for your needs, but you could easily head over to Anandtech and they have a thing every month or so with RAM, CPU, etc prices listed. You could dig through the last year and whip out an Excel spreadsheet in under 15 minutes I bet.

The guides are located here:

try serach nextag, they have a graphical price flow for all the stuff.
For example, I tried Crucial 512Mb PC2700 200pin and I got:

and for 2378FVU, I got:

hope this helps
