TV out on 14" widescreen T61

I just got done helping a friend configure a 14" widescreen T61 with discrete graphics, and right after ordering he mentioned using output to a TV.

I am having a hard time figuring out the TV output options with this model. It looks like with an advanced mini dock I can get DVI-D output, which I THINK should go to HDMI inputs on new HDTVs. Is there an option on the 14" Wide T61 that lets you output s-video or maybe a cheaper way to get the DVI output than to get the advanced mini-dock?
