Will a Intel Core 2 Extreme Mobile Processor work in a T61?

It's been done, if you look around (not on this forum i believe). 50c temps, in case you're wondering.

I have BIOS 1.26, do I need to update it? Where can I find instructions on how to install it?

are you sure? is it even possible for the current architecture to support it? is it even a socket P?
