ThinkPad Ultrabay Enhanced Blu-ray Burner Announced

#1 Post by andyP » Thu Nov 29, 2007 5:29 am

Good news if you have an R61 with discrete graphic, bad news if you have a T series. I found the announcement here
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer

It's too bad it's for an UltraBay Enhanced rather than an Ultrabay Slim, which is 3mm thinner.

At least T6x users can put one in their Advanced Dock, which has Ultrabay Enhanced.
Apathy is on the rise, but nobody seems to care.

It'll come out in Ultrabay Slim form, eventually. Everything always does.
