How to upgrade harddisk?

I've got a small disk of 80G, which I found too small for vista. I want ot upgrade it. But could I keep the system hidden part of the orginal HD, which I could use for ONE BUTTON RECOVERY and as well as the system too. Is there a way to clone the old HD?

I have done this, what I have done is request a set of recovery disk from Lenovo and run the rescue and recovery program on the new hard drive. This sets it up like it was when you got it from the factory.
