IBM 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter

#1 Post by Leon » Mon Nov 15, 2004 10:49 am

I updated my driver from Version 3.1.1.5401 to 3.1.102.27. I then lost about 1mb of wireless speed. The new driver overwrote the old driver. I can't roll-back and the old driver is nowhere to be found on my system. Does anyone know where on IBM or elsewhere I can get the old driver?

You can try asking IBM (Call their help line). I installed the newest driver and it maintains the same speed with my Netopia router. I'm pretty happy with the new driver. ... JDHurst

i recently had a speed drop after i updated a batch of drivers, i thought it was the a/b/g's driver but it seemed like rolling the bios back to the 3.08 i was previously using stopped the frequent wireless dropouts.

you havent updated to 3.12 have you?
