Screen upgrade question

Will a lcd from a t4x go into a t60 ?

I don't know for sure but I would say it is highly unlikely. It is not so much that it wouldn't fit but you may have a tough time finding a cable to connect it to the motherboard.
T60 2623-D7U, 3 GB Ram.

Using the t60 cable i would speculate the connector on the screen will be the same no ?
If so one can simply exent the connector if need be

I'll rephrase the orginal qu to will the t4x screen work in a t60
ie it isn't going to blow the lcd controller on the mother baord is it ?

Chances are the connectors are not the same. There is also the Inverter to consider. I doubt that the inverter is the same.
They may be interchangeable or maybe not. I really don't know for sure but I doubt it. Maybe someone else who knows for sure will chime in.

The invertor wouldn't be a problem they are cheap enough from ibm.
Just the connector.. I don currently have one in my hands or I would just strip and compare with t4x..
