Desktop not filling up on LCD screen on T60

#1 Post by beretta031 » Mon Dec 03, 2007 2:32 pm

I have black bars on the top, bottom, left and right side of the LCD screen. The windows desktop will not fill the entire LCD screen.

Hello, and welcome to the Thinkpad forums!

Your best solution is to set your screen resolution to the native resolution of your display. Right-click on the desktop and select "Properties" or "Personalize" to set the display properties.

If you want to run with a lower resolution, which will also result in a fuzzy, low-quality display, you can go to the ATI control panel (or CCC) and enable "Expand Desktop" or "Scale image to panel size."

If you need more specific information how to do this, please post your Thinkpad model and what operating system you're using.

I figured it out, it was in the software of the video card.
