#1 Post by lintzuchieh » Mon Dec 03, 2007 10:22 pm

when i installed new wireless driver update from thinkvantage auto updater, it got stuck, so i force shut down the computer.
then my fn f5 key no longer works.. it displays "no wireless adaptor found on your computer" or sometihng like that, the error msg is in chinese, i don't know if i translate it right. however, i can still connect to internet with windows but not the access point.

i tried to download the latest driver online and installed it, it didnd't solve the problem

Follow the instructions mentioned in the following post:

More Fn-F5 problems.

Please note that when you download and install a package manually from lenovo website, most of them 1st unpack themselves initially at a sublocation on your HDD, usually in the folder C:\DRIVERS\....... and you are required to go there to run the actual .exe setup to install the drivers afterwards, this is something most folks forget to do.
