First, overall. Image

To the right, my A31

To the left, junk.

MX 1000 is for the desktop pc which powers the 22 and 17" monitors (Abit IP35-E, Intel E4300, 2x1gb ballistix, 7800gt, 5 drives). The microsoft mouse in the middle is not hooked up right now, but would go with my Fujitsu 1u server, and the MX revolution is hooked up to the Thinkpad. Priorities are in order.

Audio equipment consists of a 1980's era Sears LXI amplifier (50w rms), a pair of I-don't-know-who-makes-these speakers, and a yamaha subwoofer.

The gum is one day's chewing. I'm quitting smoking.

The calendar on the wall is the infamous Demotivators calendar.

And my fiancee would kill me if she knew how much I spent on all this.. I don't even have a rough estimate.

On the left, yes. In the middle is a microsoft wireless mouse, and on the right is an MX Revolution.

How would you compare the MX 1000 to the revolution?

In terms of precision, the Revolution is quite a bit better for me. The tilting scroll wheel works better, as does the ultrafast scroll (auto-engage, with click-to-engage disabled). For comfort, the Revolution is also a bit better for extended use. In fact, the only thing the MX 1000 has on the Revolution is a much better charging dock and reciever.

Instead of starting a new thread, here's a few of my thinkpads.
