Underclock & undervolt x1400

#1 Post by gechu » Tue Dec 04, 2007 6:07 am

Hi,

I have a Lenovo T60 (widescreen) which uses a ATI x1400. Since I don't use any graphic-intensive applications nor games, I was thinking about underclocking and undervolting it.

Can anyone recommend values for:

GPU vcore?
Mem speed?
GPU speed?

Also, recommendations of programs for peforming the change?

Thanks,

Erik

Well the easiest way is to just go to Advanced in Display Settings (I'm assuming you have XP), there you should find all the ATI driver settings, including PowerPlay, which is a dumbed down version of what you want (it has high/medium/low settings).

THanks for the input, but I don't think it's doing such a great job because the fan speeds up once in a while without no particular reason.
