Buying an X30?

Which types are more likely to become a brick (ie Motherboard failure) or is there a certain batch which are more likely to fail? It seems that quite a few do this...

Also, if it hasn't got the wireless, will the antennas be installed but just not have the card?

Not all of X30s will have antennas. Those that do, may or may not have the card installed.

There is no such thing as a "bad batch" when it comes to X30.All of the X series from X24 on have an issue with heat build-up which tends to be the main killer.

Also beware of the many cracks in plastics that X30s are too well known for, since replacement palmrests are not as easy to find as for some other models.
