screen goes black for one second during XP start up

screen goes black for one second during XP start up

Hi guys

I just did a clean install of XP pro on my X61. Everything seems normal except that each time when I sign in to XP, the screen always goes black for a second or two, then everything goes back to normal. It's kind of annoying. I checked my intel GM965 driver, it seems fine. But there are two identical GM965 under display adaptor in device manager. What's going on here?
X61 Tablet,L7500,Vista Business, MV/MT XGA,2GB Ram,1G turbo memory, 100G HDD 7200 rpm,Ultrabase w/ CD/DVD,4965AGN, 8 cell
X61, T7300, XP Pro, 100GB 7200rpm HDD,2GB Ram, 1GB turbo memory,bluetooth, ultrabase w/ CD/DVD, 3945ABG, 4 cell & 8 cell
