Guys ive got a problem.
Ive made the 1 + 6 CDs from the rescue and recovery.
Ive inserted the first one in (the boot one) and it boots up into rescue and recovery (the same as pressing the access IBM button.
Once it gets into it its just like normal, so I had a look about and chose restore your system, which gives you 3 options, 2 are from a backup and 1 is a factory restore.
The only one i can see that makes sense is the top one, the middle option doesnt list any locations for the files, the top one allows me to choose the CD drive, then starts copying files from X:\preboot, once this is complete it just goes back to the R & R screen, doesnt ask for anymore CD's or anything.
When i boot the computer up now it stops at a sort of dos prompt and says PC DOS or something.
HELP!
Recovery CD's, how to use?

See if the "How to use Recovery CD Disc Set" thread helps.

OK guys I think ive sorted it.
The correct one to choose was restore this computer back to its factory contents, and then rather than copying from the non-existant recovery partition on the HDD, it does it from the CD.
I ran into an error saying there wasn't enough disk space right at the end of the first stage, maybe its because there are files still on the partition? I dunno.
