Sold: T40 w/BIG upgrades: 1.8GHz/80GB 7200/SXGA+/ABG $399

SOLD: Heavily upgraded T40 in perfect operating condition, fast and quiet. The spec's and condition rival many T42's on the market today.

This T40 has a recently replaced keyboard and palmrest. It is cosmetically in excellent overall condition, with a two exceptions for the LCD. I replaced the entire LCD assembly with an SXGA+ (high resolution) unit from a T41. It works perfectly, but the LCD has several small rub marks from the keyboard, which occurred on the original T41. The marks are not evident while in use, but if you hold the LCD at an angle to the light while it is off, you can see many small marks. Additionally, on the left side of the display, their are two faint dark lines that partially trace the LCD cable (about 2.5 inches), I've seen this on other machines, too. Not very obvious, but it is there. No bad / stuck pixels. The screen is bright. The cover only has slight wear on the corners, overall beautiful and fast machine, with many key upgrades. No issues with the GPU or USB ports.
