Fastest startup time on T60P
Hello,
I would like to know how to get the fastest startup time on my T60P. What programs should I disable, how to get into the start menu, etc.
Thanks

Re: Fastest startup time on T60P
if you criple your XP enough you can boot within 15 seconds. but what's the point? i boot in ~1min or under. if you really wanna boot fast get 7200 HD, understand thou that there will be a lot of noise with that hard drive. you may want to also disable finger print reader and other security features on your TP. try searching this forum and you will get a lot of results.positive wrote:Hello,

Here's a link to a useful article on various Services that can be re-set to same computer resources. It has better explanations that most of the other articles about services.positive wrote:Hello,

Also, why bother to shut down? Just use Hibernate instead. This is tons faster and it will not risk loss of date like Sleep can sometimes.
