WTB: T60P UXGA FlexView

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Sat Dec 08, 2007 5:05 pm

The title just about says it all, but I'm just adding a couple of details here...

Please be advised that I'm not interested in any other version of T60p (SXGA+, WUXGA...etc)

What is important:

- The screen MUST be FLAWLESS. No dead pixels, pressure marks, scratches...
- Machine MUST have some warranty leftover, I don't care if it's a week as long as I can extend it.

What is not so important:

Pretty much everything and anything else.

PM with offers and questions. Thank you one and all.

I'm still interested, and will pay a fair price for the right machine.

OK, now seriously folks...as Joe Walsh would put it...

How difficult can it be?

- Flewless UXGA FlexView...no dead pixels, scratches, dust specs
- 256Mb ATi video
- some Lenovo warranty leftover

Anyone on this forum who has dealt with my purchases will tell you that I do not have a snake in the pocket when paying for stuff intended for my own use....

It's easy to understand why no one has replied.

In all honestly, you are going to be very hard pressed to find ANYONE here that will give up a Flexview.

I would give up . . . well, LOTS of stuff before I gave up that panel.

Best of luck.

Brent,

I wouldn't expect you to give up your baby no more than I'd give up my "main" A31p...not comparing machines, just the attachment factor...

Funny enough, people have been selling these when I've been down with funds...most of the good things I've accomplished in life have been resolved with patience, I guess this is the next one on the list... :D

erik, thanks for the tip, I'm aware of the machine that my good friend syedj has on offer. However, the dust specs that are present behind his FlexView are something I'd like to avoid if possible, because I find them distracting and irritating in the long run. Knowing that you've owned a bunch of FlexView ThinkPads in the past, I'm certain that you can understand, at least to a degree, my feelings on this matter. But if nothing else is offered to me in the very near future, I'll be buying that one for sure.
