Nice! But anybody care to explain to me why upgrading to the 7500NV processor is _cheaper_ than to the 7300 regular processor? Weird.

concern

#3 Post by nikemen » Thu Dec 13, 2007 10:11 am

My concern is, that the higher processors kick off more heat and have much more battery drain, which some people don't want. I picked up an X61t with the 1.8 processors last week, I am now concerned that the 1.6 might have been better, even though it was MORE for LESS processor?

Seriously, why do your links not work for me? I try to click your Lenovo.com link and it never works on any of three browsers I've tried.

Can you clear your cookies and open your browser again.

Make sure you disable programs like Norton Internet Security.

And email me a screenshot mcheng@ecoupons.com

I'd be happy to take a look.

The cashback from eCoupons.com is now 10% instead of 4%!!!

75% * 80% * 90% = 54%! That's almost half price.

I placed 2 orders of X61 (one for myself and one for my sister) 2 weeks ago. Just now I PM to eCoupons.com and it seems that in order to take advantage of that extra 6% saving (which is enough for one to upgrade memory or harddrive) I would have to cancel my order and place it again. Unfortunately/fortunately one of them has already been shipped, and their sales center was closed when I called just now.

I will give them a call on Monday morning to cancel it. Let's hope that they won't ship my order on Sunday night (since China is 14 hours ahead...).

*I just noted that the sales center open on Sat and Sun, I wil call them tomorrow!

We have a marketing agreement with Lenovo so we get a commission based on your purchase.

To encourage you to buy and to be a loyal member of our website, we give you Cashback.

We got word about 10% Cashback late last night and rolled it out this morning. It's pretty awesome and we were totally surprised. So take advantage of it while you can because it's only till the end of the year!

I entered the coupon at the final checkout stage, but I still only got 20% off. How would I get the additional 10% off? Thanks any info.

Again, the Cashback is through us. Per our FAQ, you will see the Cashback in your eCoupons.com account in a few days and you can request the amount 60 days after your purchase.

Man, there is now an extra $100 cashback using paypal to check out (over order over $900)!

I just cancelled and reordered my X61, in order to get that 10% cash back from ecoupons. Now I have to cancel and reorder again using paypal in order to get that $100!

75% * 80% * 90% = 54%
and $100 paypal cashback on top of that!

great

#15 Post by nikemen » Wed Dec 19, 2007 11:43 am

While it all sounds great, I prefer to have the purchase on a credit card, which offers some level of additional warranty, and theft damage replacement. The later, rather short, the former, longer.

No, if you use a "personal" PayPal account, you won't be charged any fee.

Uh, I think if you use a credit card to FUND it, you will be charged a fee, at least I do. As well, I wasn't able to use my "personal" account lately, without the profer to upgrade.

I've used CC-backed PayPal to pay for eBay items almost a hundred times and have never been charged any fee.

This is a terrific stacked discount - I was able to build pretty much my optimal configuration - T7500, 160GB 7200RPM HD, 8 cell battery, wireless a/b/g/n, bluetooth, 2 yr depot - for $1150 shipped. Got a 1GB RAM module, will add another 2GB and a USB DVD drive. Projected shipping's not till 1/14, but I can live with that; plus I have the 10% ecoupons cash back to look forward to. Sweet.
