T30 Red Hat Linux Video Driver and/or X Configuration

#1 Post by ThePowerTool » Mon Dec 10, 2007 2:49 pm

Hi,

I have a T30 (2366-66U) with the Radeon 7500. It's not a primary system but it is hooked into my KVM. I recently bought a new Samsung 275t monitor. It's seriously sweet :-)

I would like to drive my new, large monitor at 1280x768 from my T30.

I know how to manage XF86Config but seem to be running into problems. Is there a how-to out there anywhere on RH Linux covering wide-screen monitors?

FYI it's fully functional, now, at 1024x768. I would just like to get to 1280x768 to take advantage of additional real estate.

Thanks!
