I have a T61 that I purchased in October and hasn't been giving me too many problems until now. I have Vista Ultimate and when the log in screen pops up, I swip my finger with no issues.
The issues begin to arise basically once windows starts to load though. A screen pops up that tells me that my windows password has recently changed (which it hasn't) and it tells me that to be in sync with windows, i have to enter it. Whether I put the actual (old) password or anything else, it tells me authentication fails.
Then when I try to log into websites, things that are password protected, my finger swips fine (gets "accepted") but then it tells me authentication fails once more.
What triggered this and how can I fix this? It is remarkably annoying when going on websites, forums, and my email program.
Thank you for any help.
