Maybe a little off-topic, sorry in advance.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to sync a (windows-) thinkpad with a mac ? Basically os-x can read files generated by software under windows, right, so theoretically this should work somehow...
I'm curious whether anyone is/has been doing this.
Thanks,
Chris
Syncing Mac and Thinkpad
I'm doing exactly as milstein said. If you want to sync big files I would suggest trying a direct firewire connection (just plug a firewire cable in both computers) or a direct ethernet connection. I mostly do it using my wireless network (small files).
Also check out Sharepoint to easily share any folder on your mac you want. I for example sometimes even share an external harddrive connected to the mac.

Thanks sofar!
The reason I ask is that I'd really like to switch to tiger or leopard for some applications but don't particularly like the mac notebooks. And from what I read here sofar it appears to me that getting OSX to work without problems on a pc is not really possible (or at least not very practical).
One possible solution I though of was to get a mac at work and a thinkpad for home/travels & sync them every day to stay organised. I wasn't sure though how efficiently this would work...
