I have a T23, built in wireless card, SXGA+ screen, 256 Ram, 40g HDD, XP pro..2 batteries, 1 I know isn't much good, the other seems to hold a decent charge..
Now here's the problem. It needs a backlight. I already posted in the market place forum and jamiphar wrote that he's fixes backlights for $100. And thats the way I am leaning, to get it fixed then sell it.
But I am wavering a little. So I need some advice here from you experts..
Spend the $100 then sell it? What do you guys think this would be worth all fixed up? OR
Sell it as is?
The only other blemish is there's some paint peeling off the bottom..
Thx in advance.

Thats a tough call...
Parting it out my give you the most income from it. There are some people that would buy the screen, simply because they are able to spend the $20 on the part, and fix it themselves.
You could always list it, as it is, and see of someone is interested. I don't think that spending $100 and THEN selling it would be in your best interest, financially...

When I put it away 8 months ago the flickering was so bad it was unusable. Now, the pink is still there( has been for about 2 years) but the flickering has died down...The last few days I've been using it again...
[censored], I like it. I miss it...
I'm thinking of getting it fixed and keeping it as a 2nd laptop.
But I think you're idea about listing 'as is' first is the way to go...
Thx
