I have a R52 Thinkpad with Rescue & Recovery 2.0 (factory load, not updated) and tried to do a manual "Back-UP" onto a portable 80gig USB hard drive that was factory formated FAT32 with 30 gigs of data files on it. R&R asked if i wanted to put the image file on the USB drive, so i did.....The drive is now showing up as a bootable USB (MBR with only a handful of files), NTFS and all my other files are gone??? I was not informed that the drive was going to change from FAT 32 to NTFS and the entire process only took a couple of minutes, so i assume the drive was not formated to NTFS. Can i change the partition back? Remove the MBR?
Any way to undo the backup and get my USB drive back to FAT32 and recover my work files?
