How to find the part number for the palm rest/bezzle?

I need to replace the palm rest, as I accidentally broke the right touch pad button when trying to clean it, and it's all one piece.

I've found some ebay auctions that seem to have it, as well as some third-party websites, but none of them have actual photos. And the one auction I found with a photo, the finger print reader wasn't directly under the arrow keys like it is on my... it was more to the left. So I'm worried about not getting a proper fit if I don't order the right part.

Any help/advice?

You should check with the Hardware Maintenance Manual (HMM). The HMM index is here:

The bezel should be listed with an associated FRU number. If the eBay seller says what he/she is selling is the same FRU, then that should give you some comfort that you are getting the right part or ammunition for requesting a full refund if it is not.

It may also help to add the full TYPE number to your signature so it's easier/quicker for you to get assistance with any future problems.
