By the way, the SXGA+ panel in the Toshiba is NOT IPS/wide viewing angle... in case anyone was wondering. Although that's a bit of a bummer, the panel may end up being thinner due to the simpler construction.
In general regarding resolutions, the 1400x1050 is fantastic for a tablet; the dpi difference doesn't matter much as the tablet screen is usually closer to your eyes, and (most importantly) when in portrait mode, with the 1050 pixel width you can browse web sites without horizontal scrolling.
For use in normal laptop mode, though, I seem to find myself using the XGA-res X60 more.. however that could just be due to the ThinkPad being a much nicer system to use when it comes down to doing "real work"
