#1 Post by Truthfinder » Sun Dec 16, 2007 8:52 pm

Could anyone have a look at the below info and let me know why my T-60 configiration shows a problem with my mem.
I got the same error msg. when I ran my system with 1 gig x 2 of ram. I changed out the ram and still get the error.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the memory modules in another laptop?
Do other memory modules work in your T60?

Mem concerns

#3 Post by Truthfinder » Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:54 pm

No, I only own the T-60.

I'm using new Kingston Memory in my ThinkPad and the computer runs great. I think this may just be the way the Lenovo Software is listing it. I don't feel as if there is anything wrong...... I'm just trying to understand why I'm getting these errors.

When I first got my new T60, it came with 2 x 512 = 1gig ram.
I had the same errors when I ram a check.

All in all, my unit runs perfectly. I was just concerned as to the reason for the errors that show up.

If anyone has a answer for for this I would be greatful. I'm always looking to learn more about what makes my ThinkPad tick.

Kindest Regards, Steve
